What better way is there to show thanks to America's veterans than to make a charitable [and therefore tax-deductible] contribution to the Cary Franklin-Sloan Post 7383 of the Veterans of Foreign Wars?

The Post actively supports Dorcas Ministries and the Durham Veterans Administration Medical Center on a year-round basis. In addition, the Post maintains a fund for the purpose of assisting any honorably-discharged veteran who finds himself or herself in financial difficulty. This fund is replenished by automatic deductions from various Post accounts and by many fund-raising efforts throughout the year, but it never seems to be enough. Every little bit helps.

Kristen "K-Bomb" McCabe, lead singer for OTB: Outside the Beltline, electrifies the house with her spectacular a capella rendition of The Star-Spangled Banner on Veterans Day in Post 7383's Canteen.
