This year we have once again started planning early and are expecting a great event.

This year our registration form covers multiple options. It includes registration for an individual, a team, and even non-golfers who want to join in on the fun; an option to be a Hole Sponsor; and an option if you want to donate food or beverages for the Tournament, or prizes for our Raffle.

If you would like to donate to our Tournament, sponsor a hole, or register up team, you can register and pay online either by scanning the QR code in flyer, or going to the VFW Post 7383 Golf Tournament Event Page and filling out all the information and paying there.

If you would prefer to register and pay at the Canteen, our location and Canteen hours are listed to the right. You will also find a link to download the registration form at the bottom of this page.

As noted on the flyer, if you have any questions regarding the Tournament, please reach out to the Tournament coordinator Allan Thompson at 919-479-3599 or vfw7383golf@gmail.com.

Tournament Timeline

The event kicks off at 8 AM with a briefing at the Sanford Municipal Golf Course. After the briefing, golfers will begin play with Shotgun Start at 8:30 AM. The event will finish at 2:30 PM with a Grilled Chicken Dinner and Raffle at Cary VFW Post 7383.

Donations

Below is a list of the people/businesses that have made donations to the tournament, along with the items they donated.

This Tournament is our biggest fundraiser, and your support allows Cary VFW Post 7383 to continue its mission:

  • "To foster camaraderie among United States veterans of overseas conflicts. To serve our veterans, the military, and our communities. To advocate on behalf of all veterans."

Download the Tournament Registration Form here and bring it with you, along with your donation/team fees, to our Post Canteen. Or you can mail it in with your check. But be sure to get it to us before the cutoff date of 24 May 2024.
