Mr. Roscoe Odell Walser, 82, passed away Sunday evening, November 4, 2018 at UNC Hospice Home in Pittsboro, NC.

Odell was born in Pamlico County, NC, December 13, 1935 to the late Susie Neville and Roscoe Lester Walser. He honorably served in the U.S. Army and retired as a building inspector from UNCCH.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Alene Walser.

Mr. Walser is survived by his wife of 58 years, Geraldine; his daughter, Amy W. Johnson of Cary, NC; his sister, Betty Sue Minnis of Chapel Hill, NC ; along with many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6-8:00PM, Tuesday, November 6, 2018 at Donaldson Funeral Home & Cremation – 396 West St. Pittsboro, NC.

A gravesite funeral service for Mr. Walser will be held 11:00AM, Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church Cemetery- 1288 Mt. Pisgah Church Rd., Apex, NC 27523.

In lieu of flowers, honorariums may be made to: Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church Cemetery Fund- 1288 Mt. Pisgah Church Rd., Apex, NC 27523 or Ronald McDonald House-Mason Farm Rd., Chapel Hill, NC 27514.
